Battlefield at Gettysburg

This morning I (Bill) had the privilege of looking out over the battlefield at Gettysburg as the sky turned from darkness to dawn. A thick mist laid over the battlefield much as it may have July 3rd 1863. On that day 12,000 of Lee's Confederate army attempted to cross this valley. Here at this very position however, 7,000 union soldiers held their ground. This is truly the sight of great honor, valor, and bravery!

  1. Bill, I know this is a dream come true for you to take your family to all these places...I am so glad you made it to this battlefield.

Remember..if you get tired and Lori is asleep....let Sam drive...just tell him to trust the FORCE!!
